MarineMax Yachts secures sale of a 2025 Azimut 78 fly for loyal client

MarineMax Yachts has proudly announced the sale of a 2025 Azimut 78 Fly by Brendan Bailey of MarineMax Fort Myers.

The new yacht’s owner, an avid private jet pilot and seasoned boater, first met Brendan at a marina in Dallas, Texas, where he kept his Sea Ray 44 Sundancer. Their connection grew over years of shared experiences at the docks, eventually leading to a close friendship. As his passion for boating evolved, he upgraded to a Sea Ray 540 Sundancer, and later an Azimut 60 Fly to embrace coastal cruising. With his family’s growing love of the water and a desire to host guests more comfortably, the Azimut 78 Fly became the perfect next step in his yachting journey.

Adding to his confidence in MarineMax, the owner has established a strong relationship with Yacht Service Manager Brandon Webber. Brandon’s relentless dedication to ensuring the owner’s complete satisfaction has been instrumental in fostering trust in both the MarineMax brand and its team.

Brendan Bailey commented, reflecting on the sale: “The relationship I have with the owners goes beyond any transaction and has become a lifelong friendship. We might have been united by water initially, but our bond will continue well beyond boating. Until then, we’ll keep creating Polaroids on the water!”

The Azimut 78 Fly stood out with its unique layout, including crew quarters integrated into the main cabin space. This allowed maximum flexibility for hosting family and guests. Combined with MarineMax’s unwavering support and Azimut Yachts’ innovative craftsmanship, the client felt confident that this was the perfect vessel for their future adventures.

The owner plans to use the yacht for coastal cruising and family adventures, including an orientation experience in the Florida Keys. MarineMax will assist during the trip, helping the owner become familiar with the yacht’s systems in real-world conditions. As a private jet pilot, the owner has a deep appreciation for precision and technology, which made the Azimut 78 Fly’s advanced systems and performance a seamless fit.

More noteworthy sales from the past month include a 2020 Hatteras M75 and a 2025 Baglietto T52 by James Corts of MarineMax Naples, a 2006 Lazzara 84 Skylounge by Johnny Timmons of MarineMax Houston, and a 2018 Azimut 80 Flybridge by Mike Doyle of MarineMax Yacht Center.
